Most Green Friedly Car!
Since the gas prices have finally come down everyone is shocked when they go up to their local gas station. I remember the last time I went my jaw fell open and I could not believe what I was seeing. $1.85 per a gallon for gasoline? It is even cheaper now in certain places.
Though the price of gas has dropped in most places around the United States this is not a good sign for the economy. Why you may ask? What this tells us is that individuals are being very tight with their money and as a result are not purchasing gasoline. Gasoline is a need which almost every individual needs because without it they can’t go to their job, get groceries and essentially live! So when individuals are reducing their consumption it means 1 of 2 things. They have stopped doing those things that are making it necessary or that they are just cutting severely to only what is neccesary. What concerns us more then anything is the latter. If individuals are cutting back so much then they are also cutting back in other parts of their spending. We can already see this with the advanced durable good numbers that came out on November 26th for the 4th quarter. They were a decline of 6.2% which is due to aircraft and defense spending be much reduced! This is a good indicator that business equipment and software spending is going to reduce sharply as well!
So what can you do? Read the FREE report from the EPA on which car is the most gas efficient. They have compared a number of cars by both City as well as highway miles! You can read the entire report here
What are your thoughts? Are you going to be purchasing a new car though the gas prices have reduced? What are your thoughts on a new economic stimulus plan which includes spending more money in energy efficiency?
