Coaching is a fundamental practice for those individuals that are entrepreneurs or that are on a constant search to better themselves.  This is primarily seen in sports, in which there will always be a coach.  The reason for this is that they need an external individual who is not involved directly in the playing of the sport to share an unbiased perspective about which improvements should be made.  This method is the only way that individuals can determine what mistakes they are making and which ways they can improve.  In the real estate industry, where the agent neither has a boss nor anyone who is going to hold him/her accountable, it is imperative to seek advice and determine ways in which his/her business practices may improve.  There are two reasons for this, for the Boss does two major things that an individual can have a difficult time doing on his/her own.  First, plan – the boss understands the business, what is involved with the specific jobs, and the deadline.  Second, the boss makes sure that it gets done – whether by fear or motivation, the work is done.  The boss will hold the employee accountable.
